FIELD: technology for measuring meeting angle of active radio-locator and a concentrated airborne target.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method, for measuring meeting angle of active radio-locator and concentrated airborne target, radio-signal is emitted by near-omnidirectional antenna, signal reflected from the surface of concentrated airborne target is received and distances and Doppler frequencies are measured at given count starting time, during first discontinuous time span registered simultaneously are first distance to object being observed and first Doppler frequency, and during second discontinuous time span registered simultaneously are second distance to object being observed and second Doppler frequency, ratio between first and second distances is determined, and meeting angle of active radio-locator of aircraft and concentrated airborne target is calculated from formula where R1 - value of first distance to object being observed, R2 - value of second distance to object being observed, FD1 - first Doppler frequency, FD2 - second Doppler frequency.
EFFECT: simplified technical realization of measurement in terms of devices for controlling movement of interacting objects at limited distances.
