THREE-PHASE VOLTAGE RECTIFYING DEVICE INCORPORATING THREE ENERGY FLOW CONVERSION CHANNELS (ALTERNATIVES) Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC H02M7/08

Abstract RU 2290741 C2

FIELD: electrical and power conversion engineering; rectifiers.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device characterized in better electromagnetic compatibility with load and with supply mains due to utmost use of potential capabilities of three-channel energy-flow conversion has three conversion channels, each made in the form of rectifier bridge 10, 11, 12 whose inputs are connected to three phase circuits of secondary windings 7, 8, 9 of respective transformers 1, 2, 3. Like-phase circuits of transformer primary windings in first design alternate of device are cumulatively interconnected in series to form three star- or delta-connected primary phase leads of circuit. Primary or secondary circuits of transformer windings make it possible to organize sets of voltages shifted in phase through angle δ = π/9 across inputs of rectifier bridges 10, 11, 12. In second design alternate each circuit phase of primary windings 4, 5, 6 of each transformer is directly connected to input leads of supply mains and each transformer has one of three-phase transformer windings 13, 14, 15. Mentioned phase shift is organized in the same way as in first design alternate, that is, at primary or secondary end of transformer. Voltage rippling afforded by device equals 8 with channels handling strictly uniform load current.

EFFECT: enhanced quality of conversion and minimized transformer current distortions.
