THREE-PHASE VOLTAGE INVERTER WITH TRANSFORMER OUTPUT Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC H02M7/48

Abstract RU 2531378 C2

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to power conversion equipment and may be used for design of three-phase inverters in systems of primary and redundant power supply for self-sustained facilities where voltage level of the primary source requires its increase by transformer. The three-phase inverter comprising in-series inverter link made as three pairs of phase half blocks (two phase half blocks per a phase), transformer link and three-phase output filter as well as the main control unit the inverter link is made as two three-phase inverter bridge blocks (with three key stacks in each bridge), each key stack of the same phase forms a phase half block, besides, it is equipped with three dual-winding transformer filters and three-phase transformer, at that a pair of in-series windings of each transformer filter is coupled between the same-phase outputs of the three-phase inverter bridge blocks, connection points of these two windings in each transformer filter form the three resultant outputs, which are coupled to the three-phase filter with output leads coupled to the primary three-phase winding of the matching transformer while output leads of the three-phase inverter are formed by the secondary three-phase winding.

EFFECT: operation without additional losses resultant from higher voltage harmonics of the three-phase transformer as well as non-availability of peak overvoltage at elements of the three-phase inverter induced by leakage inductance of the transformer filter windings and three-phase transformer windings as far as due to different topology of the inverter link there is no pulsating current in them.
