FIELD: confectionary industry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is chewing gum composition for controlling of oral obnoxious odor. Claimed composition contains gum base including breathing-refreshing amount of water soluble salt, which releases zinc ions, and mixture of phosphate salts comprising alkali metal pyrophosphate and polyphosphate salts in mass ratio from 2:1 to 1:3, wherein presence of phosphate salt mixture enforces and prolongs zinc ion releasing during gum chewing. Also disclosed are method for production of said chewing gum and uses thereof.
EFFECT: chewing gum with slow zinc ion releasing for controlling of oral obnoxious odor.
