FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. The chewing gum composition contains a chewing gum base, a sweetener composition, a softening agent, menthol in an amount of 0.05-1.0 wt %, a flavouring agent and spilantol in an amount of 75-300 ppm of the chewing gum composition weight. In the other variant, the chewing gum composition additionally includes an edible acid composition, a mint a flavouring agent and a physiological cooling compound in an amount of 0.025-1.0 wt % of the chewing gum composition weight. The mint flavouring agent is represented by a natural product of genus Menthe, family Lamiaceae plant or an artificial equivalent of such natural product. The physiological cooling compound is chosen from among carboxylamides, menthyl compound ethers and their combinations. Versions of packed chewing gum products are proposed.
EFFECT: invention allows to produce a product ensuring the consumer's mouth cavity moistening.
