FIELD: vermiculite cultivation, in particular, selection of optimal conditions for cultivation of annelids.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has reservoir for placement of various substrates and sample with worms divided by means of nets. Reservoir is made rectangular and has front detachable wall. Reservoir is divided into sections by means of netted partitions which are lower than reservoir. Sample with worms is positioned above netted partitions. Substrates are placed between netted partitions. Apparatus of such construction allows substrates to be chosen so as to provide optimum vermiculite cultivation conditions.
EFFECT: simplified construction and increased efficiency in determining substrates having composition providing optimum conditions for cultivation of annelids.
