FIELD: textile industry.
SUBSTANCE: shuttleless weaving machine has clamping device positioned between two portions of mixing pipe. Casing defines chamber accommodating pneumatic or hydraulic muscle with two plated clamping parts whose free ends are oriented in direction of laying said weft thread. Mixing pipe is positioned behind injector. Said chamber is connected to working fluid connection joint which is coupled through pipelines and flow-through valve to pressure source. In illustrated position of flow-through valve, pressure acts upon pneumatic or hydraulic muscle so that free ends of plated clamping parts move inward and hold weft thread by clamping force. Plated clamping parts are controlled by piezoelectric or magnetic control equipment.
EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing arrangement of weft thread along central longitudinal axis of mixing pipe during clamping of said thread.
