SUBSTANCE: the handgun locking device with a sliding breechblock has a barrel, breechblock, breech carrier plate, extractor in the form of a double-arm lever, one arm of the double-arm lever is made for engagement with the lever on the barrel and fare, the breech carrier plate is provided with a spring-loaded lock installed in a blind hole of breech carrier plate made perpendicularly to the direction of longitudinal motion of the breech carrier plate, and with a pin limiting the lock travel, engageable with the second lever of the barrel.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of breechblock operation due to its fixing relative to the breech carrier plate.
