FIELD: processes for manufacturing welded constructions, possibly in ship-building, transport machine engineering, car manufacture and other branches of industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for making metallic thin-sheet welded structures is realized by assembling and mutually welding metallic sheets and rigidity ribs. Method comprises steps of preliminarily uniformly heating sheets on their whole area till temperature determined according to formula : T = εs /α ± 10°C where T - heating temperature; εs - percentage deformation of sheet metal corresponding to limit yield; α - linear expansion factor of sheet metal. In order to prevent compression of sheets, they are secured to assembling bed or to intermediate structures and after cooling sheets are assembled and welded.
EFFECT: compensation of welding deformations by method not needing complex power equipment and high efforts.
