FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for gear-shifting of multistage reduction gears with rear additional reduction gear, particularly, gearboxes of trucks and buses. Design peculiarity of gearbox with supplementary gearbox is that slot is made with bevels for engagement with pushers on forked lever. Part of shaft arranged in cover flange is provided with ring groove. Ring groove of shaft is provided with bevels. Lock with spring-loaded rod and four ball locks arranged in pairs from two sides of shaft are installed in cover flange. Gearshift interlock coupled with pneumatic valve is installed in cover with flange. Rod-piston of gearshift interlock engages with slot made on forked lever. Spring-loaded follow rod of pneumatic valve engages with grooves made of shaft of supplementary gearbox. According to second design version, gearshift mechanism differs from that of first design version in arrangement of spring-loaded lock. Lock with spring-loaded rod installed in gearbox case and it engages with pin installed in guide of reverse rod for coupling with forked lever.
EFFECT: improved reliability and accuracy in selection of required gear in gearbox, prevention of damage, improved safety of vehicle on road.
