FIELD: chemical industry; methods of production of carnallite.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of chemical industry, in particular, to the method of production of the synthetic carnallite from the boron-containing magnesium chloride solutions with usage of the potassium chloride raw, which components are potassium chloride or the mixture of the potassium chloride and the electrolyte of the magnesium works. The method of production of the carnallite includes the crystallization of the carnallite containing the boron, the thickening of the produced salt suspension, its filtering by the centrifuge with separation of the crystallizate from the mother carnallite solution and the washing of the crystallizate from boron using the concentrated solution of the calcium chloride taken in the amount ensuring the brevity of washing of 0.6-1.2 in respect to the carnallite solution impregnating the filtered crystallizate, and the produced industrial waters are removed from the production cycle. For washing they feed the calcium chloride solution with the contents of the main substance predominantly of 29-33 %. The invention allows to use the boron-containing raw in production of carnallite.
EFFECT: the invention ensures production of carnallite from the boron-containing raw.
