FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to formulations for water shutoff operations and can be used to control filtration flows in oil formations, to limit water inflows in oil and gas wells, to eliminate annulus water and gas blowouts, to cut off isolated watered formation intervals, and to level absorption profiles in injection wells. Formation permeability controlling gelling formulation including hydrochloric acid, zeolite-containing additive, and water, contains, more specifically, 22% HCl (40-50%) and, as zeolite-containing additive, liquid waste (mother liquor) from zeolite NaY production (40-50%).
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of formulation.
