FIELD: technique for wet cleaning of air from suspended particles, which may be used in various branches of industry for cleaning of aspiration air and process gasses from dust.

SUBSTANCE: dust catcher has casing partly filled with water, gas supplying and gas discharging branch pipes, upper and lower partitions for dividing casing into dust-laden gas section and dust-free gas section with gas slot channel therebetween, droplet baffle, droplet catcher, water level regulator, slime collector with flat bottom, scrape-type conveyor, and discharge trough with slime wall arranged at water rise level within dust-free gas section at optimal operating mode of dust catcher. Regulator may be made in the form of flat gate.

EFFECT: simplified construction and increased dust elimination extent.
