SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the bactericidal treatment and dehelmintization of the sediments of the sewage-purification facilities. Preliminary they determine the length and the width of the sludge drying bed, the space intervals between the insertion points, the depth of the sediment layer, its density, humidity and the specific dose of 1М reactant in terms of the absolutely dry substance of the sediment. The consumption of the reactant solution per one sludge drying site is calculated proceeding from the following mathematical expression:

The reactant is produced using the water-thermal treatment at presence of the alkali of the wastes containing the animal proteins. The wastes, water and alkali are taken in the ratio of 1:(1.8-2.0):(0.38-0.46), the treatment is conducted at the temperature of 160-180°С for 25-30 minutes. The technical result of the invention is the increased availability of the reactant and the increased efficiency of the treatment of the sediment.
