FIELD: sewage treatment plants.
SUBSTANCE: processing sewage sludge at wastewater treatment plants. Invention can be used in agriculture, in the chemical and petrochemical industries. In the method for processing sewage sludge from biological treatment facilities of petrochemical enterprises, stage-by-stage processing of sewage sludge is carried out at a prepared site, where sewage sludge is separated and placed section by section. Sewage sludge is treated with a solution of sodium hypochlorite, then quicklime is added, followed by thorough mixing. Then peat and a 10% solution of a humic preparation are added. After stirring, active carbon and silicon dioxide are added. The resulting composition is stirred daily for the purpose of aeration for 5-7 days.
EFFECT: enables deactivation of sewage sludge with production of environmentally friendly and safe man-made soil.
