FIELD: pipeline engineering.
SUBSTANCE: flexible pipe comprises inner sealing chamber, spiral frame, load-bearing member, and outer shell. The load-bearing members are mounted inside the pipe and made of two layers of polypropylene cords wound at an angle to the axis of the pipe in opposite directions. The end fitting comprises inner ring member with outer and inner conical surfaces and split and bandage rings having conical surfaces that form a wedge. The inner sealing chamber of the flexible pipe and spiral frame are wedged between the conical surface of the inner ring member and inner surface of the nipple. The layers of the load-bearing members are wedged over the conical surfaces of the nipple and bandage by means of split and bandage ring interposed between them. The flanges are interconnected by means of a threaded member that provides the pipe layers to be wedged in the members of the end fittings thus joining the pipe ends.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
