FIELD: the invention refers to measuring technique and may find application in navigational systems.
SUBSTANCE: for achieving the given result geocentric coordinates of the object and of the navigational complex located on a carrier are defined. In the combinatorial geocentric system of coordinates vectors of position of the navigational complex and of the object are subtracted. The vector of the relative position of the object is defined by subtraction out of the vector of the position of the object of the vector of the position of the navigational complex and re-count the vector of the relative position of the object in the system of coordinates in the carrier. At that the vector of the relative position of the navigational complex on the carrier and an angular orientation of the carrier relatively to the Earth are determined. In the combinatorial geocentric system of coordinates the vector of the relative position of the navigational complex on the carrier is additionally subtracted and subtract it at definition of the vector of the relative position of the object.
EFFECT: increases accuracy of measurements.
