FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of measuring geodetic coordinates. Disclosed method of levelling a coordinate system consists in the following: using a satellite navigation system, the geodetic coordinates of the first and second theodolites, a goniometric device are measured; selecting at least one pair of reference points (RP); viewing angles are measured; method of angular serifs is used to determine geodesic coordinates of a pair of RP; measuring angles of viewing to the first and second RP with the goniometric device; determining angles of sight on RP using geodetic coordinates of RP and geodetic coordinates of goniometric device; solution of a system of matrix equations is used, where rectangular Cartesian coordinates are expressed through viewing angles; determining the angles of spatial orientation of the uncorrected system of coordinates of the goniometric device on the pair of RP; correct angle value is selected.
EFFECT: high accuracy of angular measurements.
