FIELD: instrument industry.

SUBSTANCE: flow meter comprises housing composed of three parts and turbine mounted in the intermediate part in bearing for permitting rotation. The intermediate part is made of ribs provided with recesses for receiving the turbine and is mounted eccentrically with respect to the common axis of the housing. The ribs are provided with dummy passages that receive the pickups of speed of rotation and direction of rotation of the turbine. The axle of the turbine is set in thrust bearings coaxially or eccentrically with respect to the axis of the intermediate part of the housing. The top thrust bearing is spring-loaded and provided with heat compensator, and the bottom thrust bearing is in a contact with the needle bearing made of a durable material. The rib of the housing has pressure-tight passage for passing the electric cable.
