FIELD: transport engineering; power plants of vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cooling of internal combustion engines. Proposed cooling system of engine and its supercharging air contains water cooling system of internal combustion engine consisting of hot and cold coolant circulating circuits and air cooling system of supercharging air. Hot coolant circulating circuit contain first circulating pump, first radiator connected to cooling spaces of internal combustion engine, cold coolant circulating circuit contains second circulating pump, second radiator and recuperative oil cooler. Hot and cold circuits are interconnected by intercircuit main lines, air cooling system of supercharging air is furnished with recuperative air-to-air cooler, fan with drive for drawing cooling atmospheric air through recuperative air-to-air cooler, and is furnished with recuperative air-to-water cooler connected by water channels to hot cooling water circulating circuit and by air channels, to air cooling system of supercharging air from turbocompressor.
EFFECT: provision of deep cooling of supercharging air, improved mass and dimension characteristics, reduced aerodynamic losses in air ducts, heating of supercharging air at low temperatures owing to use of recuperative a air-to-water cooler.
