CIRCULAR SCANNING RADAR PLACED IN A LIMITED VOLUME Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC G01S7/02

FIELD: the invention refers to radar technique particularly to the elements for construction of radar separate arrangements, their placement and interfacing and may be used for installation in small-sized indoors and transport vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: the proposed invention allows to locate the radar in one room reducing at that small-sized characteristics, cost and radar electric consumption and also increase its coefficient and reliability at small losses in high frequency communication lines between apparatus box located in the room and the antenna placed outdoors and that is provided with rigid connection of the apparatus box with a tubular shaft of the rotating antenna with the aid of a frame. At that the electric connection of the antenna with the apparatus box is executed along high frequency cables passing inside the antenna tubular shaft and information exchange between its users and the apparatus box and its electric feeding is executed through a small power low frequency current collector interfaced with the rotating frame.

EFFECT: increases coefficient of efficiency of the radar.
