FIELD: brakes.
SUBSTANCE: proposed magnetic braking device has permanent magnets secured successively on movable object and covered by cases, and reactive bus installed along brake path. Magnets are arranged in successively arranged cases, each being provided with chamfers at opposite sides arranged successively along direction of movement, and cavities for fasteners are made in zones of chambers.
EFFECT: reduced labor input when assembling braking device owing to use if separate cases, each being made with chamfers at opposite sides.
