FIELD: ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to steels operated under tension at high temperature. Proposed steel is composed of, wt %: C 0.06-0.20, Si 0.10-1.00, Mn 0.10-1.00, S 0.010 or less, Cr 10.00-13.00, Ni 1.00 or less, W 1.00-1.80, Mo in such amount that (W/2+Mo)=1.50% or less, Co 0.50-2.00, V 0.15-0.35, Nb 0.030-0.150, N 0.030-0.120, B 0.0010-0.0100, and, optionally, not more than 0.050% Al and not more than 0.0100% Ca, the rest being iron, impurities, and residual elements arising as a result or indispensable for manufacturing and casting of steel.
EFFECT: enabled fabrication of small- or large-diameter seamless tubes from steel characterized by high creeping and oxidation resistance.
