FIELD: engineering of advertising devices, information field of which is formed by rotating prisms.
SUBSTANCE: advertising device contains three-sided prisms, mounted on slide bearings with possible rotation around their own axes, engine, prism rotation mechanism, including chain gear, sprockets, rigidly held on axes of prisms. Each sprocket contains three through profiled grooves, positioned with interval of 120°. Each groove has rectilinear section in sprocket plane, parallel to appropriate side of prism, positioned from circle of sprocket leaf shelves to its symmetry axis and ending with semicircle. Centers of semicircles of grooves are positioned radially at distance from sprocket axis equal to 0,25 of its external diameter, to provide for engagement of roller and sprocket. Also, advertising device is provided with at least one leading roller, mounted with possible rotation on axis of carrier held on the chain of chain gear. Width of each groove is equal to diameter of leading roller, while length of its rectilinear part equals half the side of equilateral triangle inscribed into circle of sprocket leaf shelves.
EFFECT: increased acutance of image demonstrated on advertising device due to provision of braking of sides of prisms creating advertising field, and also decreased level of noise, increased lifetime of advertising device due to decreased wear of driving mechanism.
