FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: method for double-sided image displaying and a device for realising said method include a graphic information carrier being made in form of a rectangular slide which is formed from vertically or horizontally lying rectangular thin polymer panels adjacent to each other by the long side through gaps, but not attached to each other, having thickening at ends on both sides. Images to be displayed are deposited using any method on both sides of the slide before the boundaries of the thickening. The slides with the deposited images are successively placed into a display device. The device for displaying sides is configured for double-sided or one-sided image viewing. The first version of the device allows to change slides in the horizontal direction. Slides are changed by pushing the slide on guides through the lateral side of the device using a drive mechanism. The second version of the device allows to change slides in the vertical direction from top down, and has a horizontal arrangement of slide panels in the device.

EFFECT: high reliability of the display device and viewing images on sides before boundaries of thickening, replacement thereof with turning, which enables successive viewing of images on both sides of slides on a closed cycle.
