FIELD: devices for mating and subsequent unmating of electrical connecting elements installed on space vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: the claimed unit has two parts with engageable elements of electrical connectors, unfixing drive and a guide pin. The first connector part is fastened on the bay, and the second one is coupled to the first one by the central lock mechanism. The guide pin is fastened in one, and is engageable by the free part with the hole surface of the other part of the connector. The central lock mechanism is made in the form of a pusher. The pusher has a body, hollow bar and a rod. The body is fastened on the first part of the connector. The hollow bar is positioned in the inner cavity of the body, spring-loaded relative to the body, fastened by one end on the second part of the connector and provided with a damper. The damper is fastened on the second of the hollow bar and installed for engagement with the body. The rod is positioned inside the hollow bar, provided with a component with a spherical bearing surface engageable with the hollow bar and the spherical end-piece. The mentioned end-piece is engageable with the spherical surfaces of the catches of the unfixing drive fastened on the pusher body. Return motion stops are installed on one of the parts of the connector for engagement with its other part, displacement after unmating of the mentioned parts and supply of an unmating signal.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability of unmating of electrical connectors.
