FIELD: handling of aerosol substances.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valves for spraying powders contained in pressure vessels in form of suspension in liquefied propellants. Proposed aerosol valve has body with great number of vertical splines below groove, said splines have upper surfaces with minimum area in contact with gasket, when valve is closed. Groove has upper ring surfaces, intermediate narrowed part with hole (holes) of valve, and lower ring surface extending downwards and outwards at acute angle to horizon from narrowed part to valve body for connection with outer periphery of valve body at level of spline tops. Steeply inclined ring lower surface of groove has form of truncated cone or convex form, and it has no horizontal or concave parts for accumulating the powder. Gasket seals lower surface of groove when valve is closed, and it wipes lower surface of groove when valve shifts from open into closed position so that powder from groove gets into circular spaces between splines.
EFFECT: provision of optimum use of propellant and product without losses.
