FIELD: military equipment, in particular, modernization of military caterpillar vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: the tank hull aft is transformed to the nose with formation of the chassis with a front position of the engine transmission compartment. An additional armour shield with detachable sections of dynamic protection is installed on the chassis front surface. An opening is made in the nose in which an armor plate is installed, the latter forms the vehicle hull aft with a door for entrance-exit of the personnel. The tank hull boards are built up by armor plates, the roof is installed with formation of an armored habitable department increased in space for the personnel and equipment. A spaced armor and sections of dynamic protection are installed in the top zone of the board of the habitable compartment. The board transmission is accomplished for changing the direction of rotation of the running gear driving wheels to the opposite one with preservation of the mobility characteristics. The multipurpose military caterpillar vehicle may be made in the form of an armored personnel vehicle, fire support vehicle, staff vehicle, vehicle for ammunition supply, armored fueller, self-propelled mortar.
EFFECT: enhanced working armored space, provided armor stability at the level of the up-to-date main tank.
