FIELD: armored vehicles, in particular, manufacture of armored bodies. SUBSTANCE: used as the base part of the armored vehicle is the tank-chassis body that is equipped with a frame-box armor structure with a tank-level protection. Each side armor wall is made in the form of a sectionalized frame. The front wall is made in the form of a frame of spaced parallel internal and external plates interconnected by the superstructure roof and an additional vertical plate that is rigidly coupled to part of the roof of the chassis body. The frame external plate is made stepped with a central cutout, and with its front edges is connected to the lower horizontal plate of the sectionalized frame and to the upper frontal plate, through vertical inserts to part of the cover of the chassis body. The lower edge of the rear wall of the superstructure is coupled to the bulkhead through an additional cross bar rigidly coupled to the boards of the chassis body. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of protection of the upper projection of the body of the control section with inhabited compartment, reduced labor content in manufacture of the body. 5 cl, 5 dwg
