FIELD: technology for electrochemical protection of underground structures from corrosion and for transferring direct current in accordance to "wire - ground" system, and may be used during construction of anodic and working direct current ground connections.

SUBSTANCE: groundwire contains marginally soluble electrodes, serially mounted on each other, having a hollow with conic inlet in lower end, while upper end of each electrode enters a hollow of electrode positioned higher, and electrode with current inlet, positioned in arch section of electrode hollow, electrodes are made with thickening in hollow location zone, upper end of each electrode except the electrode located below electrode with current inlet is made with sharp edge, contacting the surface of conic inlet of hollow of electrode positioned higher, while upper end of electrode, positioned below electrode with current inlet, is provided with sharpened tip, contacting the surface of arch section of hollow of electrode with current inlet. Sharpened tip is fastened to end of reinforcing rod projecting from electrode. Tip and upper part of reinforcing rod of electrode, positioned below the electrode with current inlet, are made of corrosion-resistant steel. Electrodes are made with varying anodic resistance and cross-section, while in intervals of soil with high electric conductance, electrodes with high anodic resistance and/or cross-section are positioned.

EFFECT: increased reliability of groundwire.
