FIELD: medicine; medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves applying single-stage disinfection and disinsection treatment of the whole volume with accelerated electrons in general absorption dose of 2-10 kGy. Infected things is carried out with accelerated electron impulses in power range from 4-12 MeV with full electron current in an impulse being equal 100 mA-1 A with impulse duration of 5-15 mcs with front of 400-600 ms, irradiation mode on-off time ratio equal to 100-1000 and electron beam power of 5-10 kW. Distance from output accelerator window to things under decontamination is selected to be equal to 4-15 cm. Continuous or stepwise working chamber as well as feeding and discharging conveyor movement speed is selected to be equal to 0.02-0.25 m/s. Stepwise working chamber conveyor movement displacement is equal to 5-45 mm per one step. Device has working box having rooms for loading and unloading things under decontamination and working chamber disposed between them, means for moving the things from loading to unloading place, electron accelerator combined with waveguide tract with the working chamber having electron accelerator gun power supply source, discharge system, super-high frequency oscillator and control desk, radiation control system, decontamination TV control system. Feeding conveyor, working chamber conveyor and discharging conveyor are available as means for moving things under treatment to connect rooms for loading and unloading things with working chamber. The device additionally has pulsating modulator, unit for carrying out preliminary analysis of things under decontamination, unit for performing coordinated speed control of feeding and discharging and working chamber conveyor movement. The and working chamber additionally has induced air draft means and movably connected working chamber conveyor elements are designed as stainless steel net.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; reduced amount of accelerated electrons emitted outside of action zone.
