FIELD: polymer materials.
SUBSTANCE: object of invention is fiber glass coated with essentially aqueous oiling composition, which contains at least one polyurethane A and at least one polyester B at A/B weight ratio below 3. Polyurethane A is selected from polyurethanes prepared via reaction of one polyisocyanate and at least one polyol having aliphatic and/or cycloaliphatic chain. Polyester B is selected from polyesters prepared via reaction of poly(alkylene glycol) and carboxylic acid and/or carboxylic acid anhydride. Resulting fiber glass is suitable to reinforce polymeric molds in order to produce transparent composite parts, in particular light-weight roofing panels.
EFFECT: improved mechanical characteristics of material and improved process reliability.
