FIELD: production of sizing compositions applied on glass fibers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed sizing composition contains lesser than 5 mass-% of solvent and system of base which is thermally polimerizable. System of base contains at least 60 mass-% of components at molecular mass lesser than 750 and at least 60 mass-% of components of the following mixture: components having at least one reactive epoxy group; components having at least one reactive amino-group (primary or secondary); components having at least one reactive hydroxygroup. Content of hydroxycomponents ranges from 10 to 30 mass-% of mass of sizing composition and ratio of number of epoxy sections to sum of number of reactive amino-sections and number of hydroxy-sections in sizing composition is within 0.2-2.5.
EFFECT: possibility of control of time required for gelling of sizing compositions.
