FIELD: crude oil treatment.
SUBSTANCE: method of treating crude oil under oilfield conditions is realized involving preliminary reduction in interphase tension of disperse medium at oil-air boundary surface to values corresponding to interphase tension for the same oil containing no suspended impurities and treated with nonionic demulsifier, after which oil is subjected to treatment with nonionic demulsifier.
EFFECT: enhanced oil treatment efficiency due to reduced consumption of nonionic demulsifier.
