FIELD: technology for detection of internal flaws of sheets and bands of ferromagnetic material.

SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic-acoustic transformer contains body, substrate, concentrator and magnetic system with constant magnets, facing each other with poles of the same name, while electromagnetic-acoustic transformer is provided with two concentrators, one of which is fixedly fastened to body of electromagnetic-acoustic transformer between constant magnets, another one, in tight contact with first one, is mounted on substrate, while magnetic system is encased in internal body, provided with drive, for example pneumatic cylinder, with possible vertical movements along guides relatively to concentrators, body of electromagnetic-acoustic transformer and substrate.

EFFECT: acceleration and simplification of disabling of magnetic system, and also preservation of position of electromagnetic-acoustic transformer relatively to control object when magnetic system is disabled.
