FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: suspension bracket of electro-magnet acoustic converter consists of control and setting system made in form of plate whereon there is installed rod rigidly joined with case out of non-magnetic material; permanent magnet is installed in said case. The rod is equipped with a clamp and a preventing nut. This design facilitates travel of the rod along vertical axis of the plate and fixing the rod with the case and magnet at setting the suspension bracket of the electro-magnet acoustic converter relative to surface of a controlled object, for example a pipe of specified diametre. A padding is equipped with a flexible suspension bracket made in form of a strap rigidly fixed on the padding. The strap is tied with the case by means of vertical axles, linear bearings and cartridges with springs facilitating its reciprocal motion together with the padding relative to the case and magnet. Thus, at fixed rigid position of the case and magnet relative to a controlled object the padding with inductance coils is elastically held down to surface of the controlled object by exerting low force regulated by means of springs and tuning screws. Supports are made as bases wherein there are installed conic bushings. Ceramic balls are arranged inside the conic bushings with a gap relative to internal surfaces of the bushings. Channels for supply of compressed air into the gap between surfaces of the ceramic balls and conic bushings are made in the bases of the supports to create air cushion. The supports are equipped with seals and nuts to hold down seals to surfaces of the balls.

EFFECT: simplification of design of electro-magnet acoustic converter and upgrading its protection from possible damages at padding sliding along surface of controlled object.
