FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, technique used in apparatus for separation of plant contaminants from harvested mass.
SUBSTANCE: separation of plant contaminants and preliminary separation are performed in threshing region defined by threshing devices. At least one separation region positioned behind threshing region is adapted for separation of plant contaminants. Separation region is defined by at least one separating rotor surrounded by at least one separating tray. Initial separation region of tray is positioned so as to enable axial offsetting of at least one axial separating rotor in order to provide initiation of separation process when respective increased part of grain is in outer region of directed harvested mass flow.
EFFECT: reduced content of contaminants in harvested mass after separation thereof in axial separating rotor.
