FIELD: fittings for centering tubes abutted for welding.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes guide in which slit is formed along lengthwise axis; clamps with pressure members mounted with possibility of motion along guide; stops for limiting clamps motion; supports; pressing foots, locking members and springs for returning clamps with pressure members to initial position. Guide is in the form of tube having in wall longitudinal slit grooves arranged along circle by 120°. Said stops are mounted with possibility of motion along guide tube and they have two terminal and two middle detachable rings made of plates with folded edges. Clamps with pressure members are in the form of Г-shaped flat pressure levers mounted in longitudinal slit grooves along guide tube. Supports are welded at inner side to wall of guide tube. Springs for returning clamps with pressure members to initial position are mounted in grooves. Locking members are arranged on each detachable ring; pressing foots are in the form of chutes. One ends of Г-shaped flat pressure levers are mounted in supports; their other ends protruding over grooves are mounted with possibility of motion towards pressing foots.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of centering tube at abutting them for welding.
