FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: washing machine has water reservoir mounted within outer casing, drain pump adapted for draining of washing water from water reservoir, and attachment device for attachment of drain pump. Attachment device has supporting member extending from drain pump, vibration absorbing members onto which outer surface of supporting member rests, and attachment members fixed to inner surface of outer casing and adapted for resting of outer surfaces of vibration absorbing members thereupon. Thus drainage pump rests only upon supporting member which, in its turn, rests only upon vibration absorbing members resting upon attachment members spaced therefrom. Such construction substantially reduces vibration transmitted from drain pump to outer casing of washing machine.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in reducing of vibration transmitted from drain pump to outer casing of washing machine and, accordingly, reduced volume of noise produced by drain pump.
