FIELD: engineering of equipment for extracting hydrocarbons, possible use for isolating annulus space in pump, fountain, gas-lifting or force well with one or several beds.

SUBSTANCE: packer includes shaft with profiled groove made on its surface, and on it, mounted in upward direction, moveable localizer with internal stopper, mechanical anchor, consisting of die holder, dies and cone, collar and adjusting nut. Stopper in moveable localizer is made in form of free ball, limited by either spring-loaded elements positioned above and/or below it, or by effect of magnetic field. Ball is capable of axial rotation and circular movement along profiled groove, consisting of locked or unlocked and rectilinear, interconnected, blind labyrinth slits. Longitudinal blind channel is made on the surface of shaft, positioned inside which and packed under collars is a force cable. Dies from below are interconnected with die holder, and from above - with cone. Present on the surface is holding groove for die holder, made on the body of which are two - longitudinal and radial - through channels, connected to each other. Holder in form of a ball is positioned in radial channel, and mounted in longitudinal channel is spring-loaded rod of alternating diameter with possible moving and freeing of ball from holding groove of shaft when die holder abuts against moveable localizer for activation of packer.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and functionality of packer operation.
