MODE OF SOLVING PHASE AMBIGUITIES Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC G01S5/00

Abstract RU 2295737 C1

FIELD: the invention refers to the field of navigation and may be used in the apparatus of the users of the satellite radio navigational system NAVISTAR.

SUBSTANCE: the technical result is in highly-accurate definition of the coordinates of the phase center of the antenna of one receiver relatively to the phase center of the antenna of another receiver. This permits to define the relative coordinates of the vector connecting the two antennas and as a consequence the angular orientation of the given vector. For this at the stage of initialization of the system the antennas are fixed in such a manner that the distance between them during the initialization remains the same, a great number of potential decisions of phase ambiguities for various choices of the pair of satellites is formed, double phase diversities are built, all false decisions according the criterion of the mistake of the module of the vector of the base are thrown away, integration of a great number of decisions is found and true decision according to the smallness of discrepancies is chosen.

EFFECT: highly-accurate definition of coordinates.
