FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: satellite radio navigation system (SRNS) receiver receives and processes spacecraft signals. Pseudovelocity and incomplete pseudoranges are measured from the spacecraft signal processing results, and ephemeral information is extracted based on initial coordinates of the SRNS receiver, calculated from pseudovelocity measurements with accuracy which enables to minimise ambiguity of incomplete pseudoranges, initial approach for measurement time and ephemeral information is transferred to an iterative process of calculating coordinates of the SRNS receiver based on measurements of incomplete pseudoranges, while selecting for the first iteration such additions to the incomplete pseudoranges which minimise adjustments to the initial approach of the SRNS coordinates. Coordinates obtained at the end of the iterative process are taken as the estimate of the coordinates of the SRNS receiver.
EFFECT: possibility of determining coordinates of a SRNS mobile receiver at time instances when picking up time adjustment from spacecraft signals is still impossible.
