FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, engine construction, more particular, fuel cleaning technique.

SUBSTANCE: fuel filter-settler has casing, cover with fuel feeding and fuel discharge connection pipes, filtering member, baffle, fuel stabilizer, and attachment bracket. Cover is positioned under horizontal part of bracket and is sealed relative to inner surface of casing by means of radial sealing member. Fuel feeding and fuel discharge connection pipes are led upward through openings provided through bracket. Cover is attached to bracket through its openings. Casing is attached to bracket by means of flexible latches formed integral with casing. Latch is equipped at its inner side with cuts for dismantling tool. Inner surface of bead provided through cover under fuel discharge connection pipe contacts with outer surface of filtering member upper part, and outer surface of bead contacts with inner surface of baffle upper part. Baffle is formed as sleeve having supports contacting with casing bottom and apertures provided under fuel stabilizer next to its lower surface. Fuel stabilizer is made integral with baffle and is formed as skirt with projections on its outer edge, said projections being in contact with inner surface of casing.

EFFECT: reduced manufacturing costs and simplified maintenance.
