FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, construction of transportation rotors of rotary machines used in production of articles from powders.
SUBSTANCE: transportation rotor has drum positioned for rotation on vertical shaft and equipped with gripping devices, which come into cooperation with respective immovable follower the moment article is gripped from process rotor. Transportation rotor is additionally equipped with four followers, namely, one immovable follower, which lowers article onto datum base the moment height is controlled and repeatedly grips said article, two movable followers with electromagnetic drive, and one follower driven from cam which is actuated by rotation of transportation rotor. Gripping devices have grip forwardly oriented with its tip in rotating direction of rotor. Diameter of transportation rotor centrally of articles under transportation process is greater than diameter of process rotor centrally of articles under pressing process.
EFFECT: increased efficiency due to damage-free removal of articles made from powdered materials and provided with faces at their ends, controlling of article height without necessity for stopping of rotor, feeding of articles for controlling their density, rejection and laying of articles during discharging thereof along generatrix of transportation rotor.
