FIELD: antifriction polymeric materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antifriction-destined structural polymeric composite material based on high-molecular weight polyethylene, which material can be used for manufacturing friction unit elements characterized by increased load-carrying capacity (slider bearing bushings, rolling bearing separators) and sealing members of rotation and reciprocation motion couples. Composition contains high-molecular weight polyethylene and inorganic filler. The latter represents synthetic cobalt or copper spinel activated in planetary mill for 1-2 min.
EFFECT: improved deformation-strength characteristics, wear resistance, and load-carrying capacity of materials.
