FIELD: locksmith's work. SUBSTANCE: the magnetomechanical lock has a closing component in the form of a rod installed in the body for movement along the plane of the closed flap and having an axially magnetized permanent magnet on one of its ends. The lock is provided with a closing component with a ferromagnetic insert and a cavity for placement of the working end of the closing component. Located in the cavity is an auxiliary rod providing for serviceability of the lock in its first modification at any thickness of the closed object. Fastened on the end face of the auxiliary rod facing the ferromagnetic insert is a permanent magnet, and secured on its end facing the working rod is either a permanent magnet magnetized in opposition to the magnet of the closing device, or this end of the rod is completely or partially made of magnetic material. For provision of control of the lock, according to its second modification, an additional rod component is available on the outer side of the flap of the lock. The ferromagnetic insert is positioned on the end facing the room to be closed and located in the cavity of the closing component only when the flap is closed. The permanent magnets are fastened in the middle part of this rod and its opposite end. For holding the lock in the closed state use is made of a second ferromagnetic insert fixed relative to the closing component against the end face of the additional rod. EFFECT: expanded functional potentialities, reduced mass and overall dimensions, enhanced service life and reduced cost. 2 cl, 10 dwg
