FIELD: methods or devices for dislodging by wedges, particularly downhole and blast-hole rock-cutting means.

SUBSTANCE: hydrowedge device drive comprises body 2 made as fixed cylinder provided with through orifice 7 made in central part thereof. Wedge device is installed inside body 2 and comprises transversal wedge 5 with through longitudinal vertical orifice 6 connected with piston 4. Lower working surface 18 of the wedge may cooperate with support 16 of hydrowedge device located in lower part of through vertical orifice 7 made in the body 2. Direction of force to be applied by piston 4 to transversal wedge 5 coincides with body 2 axis. Drive is provided with fixed hydraulic cylinder 1 coaxially connected with body 2. Piston 4 is located in hydraulic cylinder 1 and fastened to transversal wedge 5 by means of rod 3. Upper working surface 23 of the wedge 5 is transversal to axis of through vertical orifice 7 made in body 2 and may cooperate with compensating nut 19 of hydrowedge device. The compensating nut is arranged in upper part of through vertical orifice 7. Axis of vertical orifice made in hydraulic cylinder 1 extends at 90°+α angle to hydraulic cylinder 1 axis from the side of larger wedge 5 base. Here α is angle between upper working surface 23 of transversal wedge 5 and axis 8 of hydraulic cylinder 1. Friction surfaces of the body 2 are treated to impart antifriction properties thereto.

EFFECT: simplified device structure along with reduced mass and size thereof, improved manufacturability and increased convenience of hydrowedge device usage.
