FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to low-pressure cylinders for condensing steam turbines. Flow path of steam turbine, mainly, low pressure cylinder, has single-tier and two-tier stages by means of which flow path is formed. Number of steps in upper tier depends in number of steps in lower tier according to ratio protected by invention. Degree of reaction at root of blades of upper tier is chosen depending on degree of reaction at heads of blades of lower tier according to ratio protected by invention. Invention makes it possible to optimize flow path of turbine low-pressure cylinder, reduced energy losses caused by steam leakage between upper and lower tiers.
EFFECT: increased capacity of low-pressure cylinder.
