FIELD: food-processing, chemical and other branches of industry, in particular, processing of bulk materials in rotating drum.

SUBSTANCE: drum-type drier has casing with channeled heads, drive, charging feeder, discharge hopper and devices for feeding and heating of heat-carrier. Curved blades additionally provided on channeled heads are equipped with portions having convex and rectilinear surfaces. Blades provided on portion having convex surface are equipped with through openings. Curved blades are provided lengthwise of drum only on its part designed for period of constant drying velocity. Blades may be equipped with perforations whose effective section is greater than typical sizes of separate particles of bulk material.

EFFECT: improved quality of ready product and reduced consumption of power for separation of large-sized product lumps from finely dispersed product fraction.
