FIELD: electrical engineering; vacuum arc-control devices for switching power circuits.
SUBSTANCE: proposed arc-control chamber has vacuum-tight shell, movable and fixed contacts, screen, and two flanges of which one has metal disk with recess and exhaust hole closed with vacuum-tight solder plug. Metal disk is provided in addition with outer channel and recess is made in the form of blind hole communicating through mentioned channel with plugged hole thereby providing formation of this plug in the course of chamber sealing.
EFFECT: reduced size, enhanced manufacturability.
